We met with Meals On Wheels (MOW) last week to get the 2016 BASTAS kicked off. We established some key dates for this year. On October 31st MOW will have the spreadsheet with all of the recipients ready to hand off to Home instead to get started parsing the data, printing labels and creating the ornaments. Thursday, November 17th will be our ribbon cutting, and the ornaments will go on the trees that day signifying the start of Be A Santa To A Senior for 2016! Tuesday, December 6th will be the deadline to receive gifts for processing, and the delivery will be the following week. (We haven’t nailed down a date yet.) It is definitely coming fast this year, and I want to thank everyone who have worked on this project.
