Yep, a new malware is now targeting those using Facebook Messenger on desktops / laptops. Basically the malware infects a user’s machine, then sends a message to that user’s friends through messenger as that user with a malicious link using the friend’s Name in the link to make it more enticing to click on. Additionally the malware redirects users to servers to collect data but there are multiple server end-points so it makes blocking extremely difficult.
