Cord-cutting anyone?

I occasionally discuss the way I consume my video and audio media. I basically use Plex for video, and Pandora for internet radio. I do have Netflix, and HBO Now, as I find value in what I pay for with those services. The thing I’ve not found value in for years now, is Cable TV or Satellite. It’s a bundled package of over 200 channels, 197 of which I don’t care anything about.

Then you want to add HBO, Shotime, Cinamax, Starz, ESPN, and on, and on, and on…yep that $150 bill just wnt past $250 in a blink.

It’s insane. I do prefer the a-la carte method of media consumption. I only subscribe to what I want, and don’t have to worry about the rest.

This article discusses how a large population of people are thinking the same way I do, so I found it interesting, and hope you will too.
