GitLab is a great OpenSource Git repository web controlled front end that anyone can run on their own server. I run one for all of my little projects that only I care about, and it’s great.
The great folks at GitLab have now added a static page generator called Pages, and it’s also available as open source, free to use software. I’ll probably be checking it out soon.
