I just pushd up some new code written in QT to GitHub for a UI to create an application launcher in Ubuntu based Distributions.
It’s not fancy, but ti gives you a way to name your launcher / application, pick an image file from the file browser for the icon, and give the terminal command to start the app.
You can also categorize it for distorts that have categories in their menus, and add right click options for the Ubuntu Unity app bar that give extra functionality like Play, Pause, Stop, etc.
If you can’t find the code, let me know. I think I have it under the Lug though.
