Security in Linux Servers - Seriously, it's Important!

If you’re running a Linux server that’s exposed to the world, make sure it’s as secure as it can be. Close off ports that don’t have to be open to everyone, and make sure your firewall is up to date. Keep your system up to date, and when possible, run your server based applications in silos that don’t provide them access to other parts of your system.
